Description
A lab-made short peptide from the Khavinson series.
Bronchogen is the synthetic tetrapeptide alanine-glutamic acid-aspartic acid-leucine, from the series of short regulatory peptides described by Vladimir Khavinson's research group. Like the rest of the series, it is a very short chain made by chemical synthesis. Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for laboratory research.
What scientists have studied, and in what kind of study: lab dish, animal, or human.
Studied for: lung tissue explants (rat lab studies) and lung tissue (animal studies).
That describes the research, not what a vial does.
Sources: PubChem (formula, weight), PubChem (sequence, length)
