Description
A lab-made three-part peptide from the Khavinson series.
EDR Tripeptide is the synthetic tripeptide glutamic acid-aspartic acid-arginine (Glu-Asp-Arg), from the series of short regulatory peptides described by Vladimir Khavinson's research group. Like the rest of the series, it is a very short chain made by chemical synthesis. Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for laboratory research.
What scientists have studied, and in what kind of study: lab dish, animal, or human.
Studied for: brain cells under low oxygen (rat studies) and the cell-death enzyme caspase-3 in brain tissue (rat studies).
That describes the research, not what a vial does.
Sources: PubChem (formula, weight), PubChem (sequence, length)
