Research Use Only policy

Seratide supplies research peptides and laboratory materials strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only. Our products are not manufactured, labeled or sold as drugs, foods, cosmetics or medical devices, and they have not been approved by the FDA.

No product sold by Seratide is intended for human or veterinary use of any kind, including ingestion, application or administration by any route. No product is intended for any diagnostic or clinical purpose. Do not use these materials on yourself, another person or an animal.

By placing an order, you attest that:

• you are at least 21 years of age;
• you are a qualified researcher, or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution or laboratory;
• you are purchasing for laboratory research use only, and not for human or animal use;
• you handle, store and dispose of the materials under appropriate laboratory controls and in accordance with all applicable laws.

The same attestation is a required checkbox at checkout: “I confirm I am 21+ and a qualified researcher, buying for laboratory research use only.” An order cannot be placed without it.

Product listings state the compound name, strength, physical form, container and lot number. They make no claim about any effect in humans or animals, and no statement on this site has been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Nothing on this site is medical advice.

Each vial carries a lot number; entering it on the Lot lookup page opens the record for that lot. Records currently shown on the site are specimen records that illustrate the format and are labeled as such; they are replaced by issued laboratory reports as lots are analyzed. A lot record is an analytical document for a research material, not a certification of fitness for any use.

If a buyer indicates human or animal use or asks about dosing, we cancel and refund any of their orders that have not shipped. We may also refuse or cancel any order, and close any account, where we have reason to believe the products are intended for human or animal use, the buyer is under 21, or the order would breach this policy or applicable law. Support staff do not discuss or advise on any use outside the laboratory.

You are solely responsible for complying with all federal, state and local laws that apply to the purchase, possession and use of research materials where you are, including any import requirements.
