About KPV
A tiny three-part peptide from the tail of the skin-pigment hormone.
KPV is the tripeptide lysine-proline-valine. It matches the final three amino acids of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH), a peptide cut from the pro-opiomelanocortin protein. This is a synthetic copy of that short natural sequence. Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder for laboratory research.
